Meet Audrey

Audrey Leslie is a Registered Acupuncturist and Holistic Nutritionist. She holds diplomas in Clinical Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Applied Holistic Nutrition.
Just like many of us, Audrey began her journey in Natural Health by learning all she could to address her own health concerns and those of her family. After initial allergy tests and a very strict elimination diet, she accurately concluded that food sensitivities and intolerances were to blame for many issues – no more sleepless nights or hyperactivity; no more stomach upsets! Audrey learned how to convert her kitchen to accommodate her family’s dietary needs, while managing to keep her children happy with their choices, regardless of restrictions. Acupuncture and TCM became Audrey's passion after having amazing results with her own problems with pain and immobility from TMJ-like problems. She then tried cosmetic acupuncture and was hooked! The combination of acupuncture and correct nutrition is very powerful.
Working within the natural health field for over 13 years has really honed Audrey's listening skills. She is highly motivated and very passionate about giving her clients the best in alternative healthcare, however her approach is not to bombard clients with unsolicited advice. She has her finger on the pulse of the industry and conducts relevant and informative workshops and seminars on natural health topics for both local and national organizations, and corporations. Audrey's clients have reached many of their goals with nutrition and lifestyle changes and Audrey is thrilled to offer acupuncture to her services. Audrey finds that the results her clients receive from acupuncture are more immediate and more consistent. This results in happy patients and higher retention.
The success of treatment also depends on the practitioner and Audrey's skills and knowledge of Acupuncture increase daily. The acupuncture therapy she provides clients is clinical acupuncture with traditional body needling, electro-acupuncture, microsystem acupuncture such as ear (auricular), cosmetic acupuncture and acupressure, hand (Koryo Sooji Chim) and scalp acupuncture. She also practices tuina, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion therapies.
Audrey is a member of The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants, The Canadian Examiners Board of Healthcare Practitioners and is an active member of the community, conducting workshops and seminars at local and national organizations and schools about complete nutrition and relevant topics. She was a contributing expert for Three Takes on the Slice network, has been featured on local radio and coaches clients on a one-to-one basis how to eat for optimal health.
Audrey acknowledges that changes in dietary needs due to illness, intolerance, or even ethics can at first seem overwhelming. She teaches informative and practical cooking classes that help make this transition smooth.
Clients with questions/concerns regarding appropriate supplementation and herbs benefit from Audrey’s many years of work within the Natural Supplements industry.
Also an avid pet-lover, Audrey has also grown her knowledge base while working in the Natural Health and Wellness industry to include our furry family members - they have nutritional needs too.
